Nurturing Faith, Uniting Nations, and Building Bridges
Our church, St. Andrews Pentecost in partnership with our sister church St. Matthew’s Evanston, have the goal of building bridges and racial reconciliation. We have formed a community of fellowship working together to make a positive difference in the world. One of the practical ways we have forged the partnership is to worship together at least twice a year. At the moment our primary area of focus is to stand together in support of immigrants and refugees. Our work to date includes Education, Advocacy and Action specifically in hosting a family from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In continuation of the project, we are in the process of renovating our vicarage to provide accommodation for immigrants at a time when there is a huge influx of immigrants and limited accommodation to house them. With the support of
St. Matthews and other churches we are raising fund to embark upon this important task. Your generous donations will be appreciated.
